Wafaa Alrashid M.D. 

Dr. Alrashid's mission is to provide personalized, high-quality care on an as-needed or preventative basis.  We have created a practice that we believe in and choose for our own family members. We have the Huntington Laboratory within feet of the clinic making blood work and examination a 2 in 1 trip to the doctor. Just across the street from our clinic is the Huntington Hill Imaging Center with all radiological studies at our fingertips. 

We are a full-service internal medicine practice of dedicated, experienced professionals who believe in working with our patients to maintain and improve their health. We work together to serve your entire family for all of your medical needs in all stages of life. Our doctor believes in providing comprehensive health care services to our patients in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. We also believe in educating our patients as we work with them to achieve the best physical state possible. 

We pride ourselves in providing the utmost care to our patients and using a referral base of physicians in the Pasadena area that are only the best of the best. Dr. Alrashid is affiliated and cares for her patients who require acute hospitalization at Huntington Memorial Hospital. 

About Me

I was born and raised in Logan, Utah, and received my bachelor's degree at Utah State University. After graduating, I attended Howard University College of Medicine in Washington , D.C. and received my Doctorate of Medicine in 2004. In 2015, I went into primary care and opened my own private practice in Pasadena. As a primary care physician, I emphasize preventive and comprehensive care to ensure long-term health and wellness among my patients. To that end, I have expanded her practice to include aesthetic treatments. 

Q: Who do you admire?

A: I admire all the female physicians who finished their training before the year of 2000. I cannot imagine what it was like prior to that year, when gender disparity was much more evident.

A: Busy, fulfilling, healthy, and dynamic

Q: What do you look forward to at the end of the day?

A: I love seeing my dogs. They are always so happy to see me and needless to say, they are adorable fur babies.
